Description:
Senior Civil/Structural Engineer w/ Marine experience
CDI Engineering has an immediate opening in the Baton Rouge, LA office for a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer.
Long-term assignment.
Requirements:
- Degreed Civil/Structual Engineer with PE License (Louisiana)
- 15+ years experience Senior role in Civil/Structural/Marine Engineering EPC environment
- Specific waterway experience: Mississippi River and tributaries, client interface, and knowledge of client facilities
- Experience in design of Ship Docks, Barge Docks, Fendering, Dolphins, Moorings, Loading Platforms, Loading Arms, and Associated Facilities
- Experience in managing Structural Design & Engineering that includes cost estimates, budgets, and manpower scheduling/planning
- Management experience of vendor data, expediting, and coordination of detail engineering activities
- Risa3D Software working knowledge
Preferred Experience:
- Experience interacting with the US Army Corp of Engineers, Levee Boards, and local and federal environmental agencies
- Prefer NCEES Record holder with ABET accredited degree, Licensed by examination, and having the ability to become licensed in multiple states
